My mother is a fairly new resident at HarborChase Mandarin and so far we have been very pleased. Our experience with the transition to assisted living was made a lot easier because of the warmth and gracious attention of the staff. Mother is still getting used to things and doesn't always love every meal selection (who does?) but we are comfortable that we made a good choice.

Beautiful place, terrible experience. These people will money gouge you every way possible. They draft from your account for care levels and med management before your loved one ever moves in. They continued to try and redo our insurance benefits to suit their needs. Unfortunately I was dumb enough to move furniture in the place but thankful I caught onto the money grab before I moved my relative in. Not once did the director ever offer to call and work out anything. The move in coordinator "Sierra" would say one thing and then call me 5-6 times a day at work and change her story after discussing with the director. Totally unprofessional and added more stress. Save yourself the hassle and your pocketbook and find a better place. Can’t get a returned call after having over $12,000 drafted from my account. Was told I was due a refund via text… This should all be broken down as what is due back to me in an email. I have never experienced anything like this!
