Sharon Rose has always done a stellar job keeping my mom's apartment spotless. Today my mom wasn't feeling well and Sharon was able to calm her down and walked her to her room and sat with her. God bless her and give her a raise! You can't find people like that anymore.

After my wife’s TWO cardiac arrests, we realized we needed more help than I could possibly give her. My daughter and I looked at several assisted living facilities and visited Harbor Chase. As soon as we walked in the front door, we were excited. The facilities ( lobby, lounge areas and game rooms, theater, gym, and dining rooms) beautiful, clean, and well kept, but EVERYONE we spoke to, guests AND staff, were extremely outgoing and friendly! My daughter even commented, “I wonder if these attitudes are a scam. Can everyone be this helpful, friendly, and kind?” My wife and I have lived here for 10 months now and I can assure you it wasn’t a scam! Everyone truly cares and tries their hardest to help. It’s a GREAT place to live!!

I’m not a resident, but have visited frequently and have enjoyed events available by invitation. Harbor Chase is community oriented, adding a lot to the Mandarin area experience. The apartments are lovely, and the atmosphere in the building is wonderful. The meals are served in first class surroundings, and are delicious. Everything about the building, actually, is as inviting as a resort, including a movie theater and putting green. The staff is welcoming and caring, which makes it a home, not an impersonal apartment building. When my time comes, I hope there will be an apartment available!

Harborchase of Mandarin is a lovely place for all Seniors; Independent, Assisted and Memory Care residents all alike! The environment is beautiful and well kept. The residents are lovely and interact with each other in a friendly way. The food is delicious and the staff genuinely cares about the well being of the residents!

Enjoyed a pumpkin cooking demonstration this afternoon. Pumpkin bisque, pumpkin salad with quinoa and vinegrette and pumpkin mousse. Each was better than the one before! Plus, we got some to take home & the presentation was beautiful.

My mother is a fairly new resident at HarborChase Mandarin and so far we have been very pleased. Our experience with the transition to assisted living was made a lot easier because of the warmth and gracious attention of the staff. Mother is still getting used to things and doesn't always love every meal selection (who does?) but we are comfortable that we made a good choice.

Beautiful place, terrible experience. These people will money gouge you every way possible. They draft from your account for care levels and med management before your loved one ever moves in. They continued to try and redo our insurance benefits to suit their needs. Unfortunately I was dumb enough to move furniture in the place but thankful I caught onto the money grab before I moved my relative in. Not once did the director ever offer to call and work out anything. The move in coordinator "Sierra" would say one thing and then call me 5-6 times a day at work and change her story after discussing with the director. Totally unprofessional and added more stress. Save yourself the hassle and your pocketbook and find a better place. Can’t get a returned call after having over $12,000 drafted from my account. Was told I was due a refund via text… This should all be broken down as what is due back to me in an email. I have never experienced anything like this!

This is one of those businesses that is difficult to review because the care of your loved one can be a hot topic. However, my father has been independent living there for a year and my experience has been very positive. They give him respect and dignity. Everybody knows him by first name. Since opening their doors after the Covid lockdown they have gotten to know me as well. The front desk staff, the nursing staff, the dining staff and managers have all been very friendly. “J” is especially outgoing and gregarious. And Marla has been an angel! I highly recommend Harborchase.

We attended the Chef's program on the Chicken and Corn Chowder. The presentation was excellent, the food was wonderful, and it was great to receive the bag with all of the ingredients already prepared. We went home and immediately prepared this for our dinner. Please do more of these programs and do them more often. The director of sales does an excellent job with this program.

First of all I was impressed by the theater and the seating arrangements. I attended the cooking demonstration event on 1/16/2020. The Chef explained the various kinds of cooking styles and was well-versed in his knowledge of culinary. His resume was impressive. He explained that by preparing the food in stages it enhances the taste of the dish. While visiting the community, I also attended the happy hour at their bar. I found the residents to be friendly and the service to be gracious. I like the Bistro arrangement and how the service is provided by the wait staff. They were kind and attentive to the residents and addressed them individually by name as Mr....and or Ms.....
